Believe it or not, it's actually good for soloing the deathsinger on normal crota. Three shots per wizard, then pop a heavy synth and take out both shriekers and still have 5 rockets for the deathsinger (if you have a perk to carry extra heavy). Since she doesn't move the pyromancer perk wrecks her. Or you can use it for mob control.
