I like being able to see the beauty in something that on the surface may not be beautiful, I like being able to see the best in someone who can't seem to find it themselves, I like being able to see the faintest glimmer of hope in the darkest of days, and so on and so forth. I suppose, to simplify it, I like being able to help others see the positivity in people, places, or situations where it may be hard to find. But at the same time I don't like to seem like i'm gloating or bragging, so complimenting myself feels weird.
