Should naughty dog make another jak and daxter?
I really loved the jak and daxter series for ps2 , I heard that jak 4 was in development but it got canceled or something, I really hope we get a new one they were the best games of my childhood, if they do make a new one should they make it more realistic looking or keep the old cartoon look which was great?

The end of Jak 3 was bitter sweet in my opinion. It was the end of my PS2's life and it was one of the last games I played. I feel as though if ND ever did make a Jak 4 they would have to make it like Toy Story 3. Like it's a throwback to when we were younger. and it'd get us all in the feels by the end of it. I would love that.

3 RepliesI honestly feel that the series withered and died with Jak 3. I haven't even touched Jak X, Daxter, or The Lost Frontier for that very reason.

I personally would love a new one, keeping a similar but enhanced art style, but... we all know what "the last frontier" did to the series, aside from revealing a few things and making dark daxter a thing... they fvcked up the story with their plan they had at the end. In that reguard, i would preffer a reboot to the series instead of continuing from what that company did that ruined the last jak and daxter game... thats the only mistake i remember naughtydog ever did, and the only one i cant EVER forgive: lending 1 of their best IPs to a smaller studio... insomniac did the same by handing ratchet and clank to the same company and guess what, that game was horrible too, sure the 2 games were playable, but they didnt feel right... im glad the sly cooper IP didnt go to that same company. Alright i took a look at my old games real quick to see the name of that company, its "high impact games" :\ yeah, my heart got highly impact with their 2 insults of games to our beloved series and childhood memories. Gee, thanks high impact games.

Damn I loved the first Jak and Daxter, but Jak 2 was a bit boring and I never finished it. That's the last Jak and Daxter game I've played. I wouldn't mind a new Jak and Daxter game though!

This'll be the last Uncharted and then we'll most likely see a LOU2. Maybe after that a Jak 4, but it seems their content has always matured with their audience. My Naughty Dog wish-list: > Uncharted Collection > Jak Collection on PS4 > A failed dream of a new and revolutionary Crash Bandicoot > That one scifi game they never made

Technically there was a Jak 4, but u don't think it was made by Naughty Dog. Still, is like to see another one, those games were a part if my childhood.

I don't know to be honest. I don't think they want to anymore. They were working on some basic concepts which I think is in the Naughty Dog limited edition. They stopped working on it to start with The Last of Us.

I am still playing through the second game haven't touched the third but they should develop a PS4 game assuming that there is more of a platform open world game.
