What happens if you try to use xur upgrade on. A legendary sparrow? Does it just not take it?

Im prty sure that does not work i believe its just for rare sparrows never tried to test it out...didn't want to waste 23 strange coins i believe that's the price

The upgrade only works on Rare Sparrow. Strictly blue tier, green(uncommon) would work as well.
