Since it covered up the white nail perk, Bungie removed it to work on a fix so it could work with the nail perk. The same issue is arising in Word of Crota because the extra damage perk is covering up the phantom perk on the hand cannon. Expect it to be removed from that gun as well.

Let's hope not. Isn't worth the perk to not get that damage. It almost doubles it.

Edited by Valkitus: 2/8/2015 7:56:09 PMThe issue is that you don't get both damages on a hive. The hive perk damage is the only thing used. The phantom or white nail perk become useless because of the glitch. They should remove hive perk to make it work and leave the main perk for the weapon. Plus, the nail and phantom perks give you ammo for precision kills so I find that more useful than a perk for a specific type of enemy.
