I meant to put power metal for blind guardian. And I put Metallica for alt metal because they aren't quite heavy metal, And they definitely aren't hair metal. They are kind if everywhere.

Metallica not quite heavy metal. Just so wrong. They are literally First Wave Bay Area Thrash Metal. But they slowly became what is known as Heavy Metal.

I do. I love the band. But I just don't see them as a heavy metal band. They are metal. But their style just dips into all forms of metal. I mean think about the song one or master of puppets And then listen to whiskey in a jar, ain't my Bitch, or blitzkrieg. It's very different. I just don't see them as heavy metal.
