Currently only strikes launched directly on the planet count towards that total.
Weekly strikes and strike playlist don't

thanks for the quick reply. that's pretty lame though, that basically encourages us to be running lower level, weaker strikes all the time mixed in with out Roc, weeklies and nightfalls. too many strikes
