It goes without saying that Destiny is a fairly menacing beast for those without a group to help them through their journey as guardians. Despite the best efforts of community developers, folks still seem to fall through the cracks, ultimately finding themselves excluded from some of the more rewarding events the game has to offer. The reality is that, it sucks to have that Crota checkpoint with no way to complete it. It sucks to bang your head against the nightfall for hours with no help. So the solution to this conundrum is simple: come play with us. I won’t blow smoke up your hind-end by telling you that we’re pro, l33t, or that “bungie is reviewing our 8 hits on Crota in one kneel, so worship me”. We are an “older” group of professionals who share a passion for gaming, and we do posses a fair amount of skill between us. Most of us have been playing Destiny since day one, have executed many successful raids on both Atheon and Crota, and are well versed in the mechanics of the game. What we also share is a desire to assist those that need it, without regard for their skill level or loadout. We want Destiny to be as enjoyable of an experience for you as it has been for us, and so we’re willing to work with you to get you to where you want to be. I would be remiss not to mention that behind the group is a non-profit, and that we are facilitating the growth of that non-profit by leveraging our passion for gaming. As a result, we do stream what we do in-game, and so there is a necessity to have forward motion to foster the growth of our Twitch and Social Media engagements. While I won’t go into any great detail about the non-profit here, I will say that said non-profit is a means to facilitate charitable efforts across a broad-spectrum of issues, and not to benefit us as individuals. So let’s have a bit of real-talk: We will help you with pretty much anything you need help with, so this effort isn’t simply focused on pushing as many people as we can through the Crota checkpoint. Having said this, we need to make this as equitable and efficient as possible, so we’re generally going to focus on getting groups of people through the same activity. This is not to say that you as a solo individual will be left out, simply that we will try to get more than one person in need through a given activity at one time. In the interest of both equity and efficiency, we have some general guidelines that need to be met for specific activities, and they will be listed below. In general, your level doesn’t matter; so, as long as you are high enough to run an event, we’ll run you through it. Just because you can’t run the hard raid with us as a level 30, doesn’t mean we won’t run you through the normal mode, get you levelled up, and then run you through the hard raid[/i].
