Inefficient against a large swarm of enemies. I can use pretty much my any other weapon and keep my exposure to a minimum. In NF this is more essential if you like to do it solo If they had explosive rounds then it comes down to how fun can I have. I would be running round like any idiot. It won't be suitable PvP though.
