I do use shotguns in PvE. Its fun and I didn't think they were underpowered to begin with so a double damage buff will be nice.

Yeah, but they are nerfing the range at the same time. It'll be interesting to see how that plays out.

It does less damage at range BUT it does 100% damage increase so at the same range as before in PvE it will still do more damage. PvP nah.
