No it wouldn't be. Because now Bungie is to see why people don't use them. Only 1% of players use them in PVE. Gives them right direction (if they read this at all) why folks don't like them. And why do I use them? Because they are fun and challenging gun to use in PVE. They are the WORST gun in the PVE circuit, for sure. But they are just fun.

Yeah.....the fusion rifle is a better shotgun than the shotgun. I'd rather have a sword than a "gun" whose effective range is the muzzle pressed into the target.

Yeah and even maxed out, shotguns DO some damage, but not enough to warrant the risk you are taking.
