It's kind of hard to determine if kills from a bloom explosion count as nova bomb kills.
Since they are kills, they will of course give you some super energy.
Inverse shadow will increase the super energy you would normally get from one of those kills anyway.
My guess is that the Insatiable perk for NB kills does NOT proc on bloom kills.
The issue can be tested. But since bloom works so well with axiom bolt, and energy drain doesn't stack, I tend to just enjoy the mayhem and not worry about the details.
I wish bloom procced on all void kills. We need more skill/weapon interactions. Sunsingers touch of flame and Viking funeral should proc on solar weapons too. Warlocks should be the burst dps kings. Titans can make orbs from heavy weapons and normal melees, and hunters have plenty of weapon affecting skills. Warlocks gaining extra effects for specific weapon elements would be cool without being OP.
Especially if these only procced on pve kills.

I've been doing some testing, and it appears that bloom kills do NOT proc insatiable. My test was definitely not perfect, but what I did was: found three dreg that I could reliably kill over and over. I killed all three with a nova blast without bloom on and marked where my super energy refilled to. Then I put bloom on, and kept kill the group until I was certain that at least one of them had died from bloom and NOT from nova bomb. My super energy filled less when I killed one of the dreg with bloom. It wasn't an infallible scientific study, but I'm convinced that bloom does not proc insatiable.

Thanks for putting in the work. Out of curiosity how big would you say the difference was?

Three NB kills took it to about 3/4 of the way through the melee square. Two NB kills with one bloom kill Yukon it to just inside the melee square. So, an inch maybe? 5-10% It wasn't a glaring difference but it was definitely noticeable.

Seems like insatiable gives you more than double the amount you would normally get for the kill.
