Anyone else Miss the devil you know?
My first hand cannon, that hand cannon that made me start liking hand cannons in the first place. Replaced in the vanguard quartermaster by the devil you don't, Which kinda sucks. What old hand cannon do you miss?
Edit: yea, I've kept mine, fully upgraded.
Also have timurs lash, hawkmoon, and thorn.
But devil you know will always remain one of my favorite.
I miss a lot of old vendor gear in general.
The swarm is an honorable mention. Mine was void damage and was a beast for VOG
Kept that as well.

Dammit my first too and I broke it down. Leaked vid of upgraded attack legendaries so I'm pissed now. Also had an A.19 scout. Yea leaked vid on Xbox of light lvl 34 capable gear from VOG and an upgraded shadow price

1 ReplyI've also got my Devil You Know in the vault, and I have the three others you mentioned. The Devil You Know was my go to weapon for taking down vex in VoG, and I dearly miss it. This and The Swarm are the two oldies I'd like to have upgraded.

All the vendor gear now is just garbage. They even look terrible! Id rather keep Doctor Nope than buy any of this. Except for LDR 5001. That guns a beast.

Yes. Love my Devil. Still carry it always on my main, just in case I need a legendary that works in almost any situation. Mine was from a rank up with vanguard. Clown cartridge gives me 14/15 in the chamber every 2or 3 reloads. Luck in the chamber is just gravy damage. Explosive rounds and perfect balance when i'm feeling like splashing or slashing. Had a chance drop from a rank up. Close but not quite with the perk roll. Hoping for a new monarchy drop of their Handcannon.

I have mine stashed in the vault, loved it. currently using thorn though and when i need to equip a different exotic the TFWPKY 1969 serves me well too. didnt really like devil you dont but i got decent roll on it from a vendor package.

I still have mine. It was probably the third legendary I maxed out after my Epitaph Sniper and the Super Pox PLO (which was my first legendary ever and I maxed it before realizing how much better non-pulse rifle guns were).

3 RepliesThe Devil You Don't is easily the worst legendary hand cannon. It's in the high rate of fire archetype but, that's about the only plus, lol..............it is the second slowest reload speed of any legendary, has low range, mediocre stability, and (an abysmal) 5 round mag, completely useless, lol. I actually bought it, and almost immediately discarded it. Unfortunately there aren't really any "great" vendor hand cannons (for some reason we went from having 4 vendor hand cannons pre DLC, most of which were really quite good, to having 3, and only one of those (The Chance) is worthwhile). Of course now that hand cannons are getting a nerf I might be using scout rifle all the time instead so I guess it doesn't really matter.
