Bungie has zero incentive to implement even the simplest in-game LFG system since there are so many existing external websites than can do everything efficiently already. They are better off spending time and resources developing in-game content rather than a raid LFG or matchmaking system that will ultimately be underused, fatally flawed or both.
In other words, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Edited by Gabe: 2/5/2015 12:14:30 AMSure there are already people who use these things but it doesn't mean it isn't broke. We shouldn't be making the game for them, that's their job. And it is in their interest to implement this. Like I said, the raid is the best part of Destiny in many peoples opinions. In almost every review, the raid is considered a pro. Even for me, I wouldn't have stuck around if it wasn't for the raid. As a matter of fact, I enjoy the raid so much, I created my own. So it is in Bungies I the rest to do this because if more people have access, then more of those people have a chance of staying invested for future installments and expansions. Raids won me over and I don't see why it won't win over more people.
