They can't really do any major change or give us new content without an expansion, otherwise everything that they've given in the updates has been spammed all over the forums at one point. They're certainly listening, just not necessarily to the right people.

I agree with that but I should restate my question from major changes to appropriate changes such as vault space, materials for nightfall (not complaining just saying I'd rather strange coins that 400+ useless materials) these are just 2 small changes that could be added without expansion and it would shut some people up on these forums soo we could get real feedback

Yeah, that's where listening to the wrong people comes in. They're listening and doing what people say, it's just not the right people. They listen to the people that say it's absolutely necessary to fix cheeses because they're the most vocal, not the people who suggest no mats for nightfall (I just got shards for my 3rd nightfall in a row, ugh) or extra vault space quietly. People are on the forums saying that things like cheese are major changes that need to be fixed immediately, so they fix it. Personally, I wish they had polls or something on what should have priority, what needs to be fixed and what doesn't, etcetera. Then we can be sure that they're listening and that we get appropriate updates.

bungie doesnt want people to cheat. if you spent seven years trying to develop a great game with the right balance of difficulty based on player level and stuff like that and people negate everything you have worked for by cheating that would piss you off too im sure. i bet you would also try to fix it quickly. also i would like to bring to attention the fact that within the Bungie/Activision contract for the creation of the game it specifically states that all bugs in the game must be fixed within 30 days of them becoming known by Bungie. it also says that if a bug is made know 12 months after the game release Activision will not support or pay for their repair. so Bungie HAS to fix bugs and glitches. I feel like a lot of the things we want that you guys are talking about will be implemented in the House of Wolves and the Comet expansions. it requires a lot to fix things within the games original structure so expansions are good places to fix all that.

Frankly, if they spent 7 years on this game there's no excuse for what we have, at all. It may have been announced and planned 7 years ago, but they sure as hell didn't spend 7 years working on it. As for the House of Wolves and Comet, everybody had those exact same hopes for The Dark Below. I see no reason to hope for future ones given what we have now. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised, but as it stands I doubt it.

i do agree that there are things the game certainly needs, we all know that. The dark below was essentially already completed by the time the game was released so they couldn't really fix many things. a lot of it has to do with the contract with activision (im not a fan). im really hopping for the comet to provide significant redesign to the game. however i could be wrong and this could all be shit. i feel that this destiny is very much a set up to the next games. im going to make a post in a bit about what i think the game should have so if u want to check that out u might like it.
