Charge Blade is my favorite so far, I have only tried the Insect Glaive a few times, and the controls can be a little bit confusing at times. And for some reason the older weapons kind of feel underpowered now.

I don't have the demo so I can't really practice any weapon. How is the mobility of charge blade? Does it hit hard like great sword?

It's a lot like the switch axe, sword mode isn't quite as fast as a sword and shield, but it's still very agile. And axe mode feels basically the same as the axe mode of the switch axe. It hits very hard especially if you get the super charge. It's a really good balance of heavy damage and quick damage, a very versatile weapon overall.

Haha yeah. I was thinking about using hammer or long sword. Does long sword break horns and faces, like hammers.

I'm not really much of a hammer person, I prefer quicker weapons, dual swords have been my favorite for a long time. Long sword is pretty good, depends on the monster. I tried the Insect Glaive a few times, and it is pretty good, the constant mounting ability because of the pole vault is nice. I tried the great sword a few times and I'm still not too good at it. I always go for the fast weapons.
