I've never used this weapon but did feel it NEEDS this perk for how underwhelming the weapon is and it does make sense.

No, it would make it exotic.

No it would prompt camping and remove the o my built in counter play to snipers

No lens, no flare... Only makes sense. Exotic perk "can't see me" Impact is low, bolt is terribly slow, it makes up for the no flare. Not like you get much of a chance to two shot people with it.

Or you could just take out the flare and replace it with a tremendous muzzle flash, which would be cool anyway.
