save them,.. dont open till the next DLC drops ;) lets face it, there probably gonna be blues anyway,..
if by some chance you only get old crap not dlc stuff,.. my backup plan is to get all the vendor ranks across 3 characters to roughly 1 bounty off completion, soon as dlc drops,..

That's not how it works, drops are determined when you pick up the engram.
