Everything on Bungie's servers so it will all transfer to whatever version on Xbox live. You can play from one to the other also

Yeah my characters and weapons and everything like that transferred, but the expansion content and limited edition content say I must purchase again. It was just weird that you can go from 360 to One but not the other way around.

That's news to me, that sucks. Did you try to restore purchases? That might work

Yeah I tried going to purchase history, only the compatibility packs 1 & 2 are downloaded. I guess the general consensus here is that I'm S.O.L.
