My grimoire isn't very high. I've played since launch and do what I can when I can. I can rarely raid so I have almost no completions. Grimoire means nothing.

I'd love to but my issue isn't a team, it's time. For a lot of reasons I can only really get on for hour sessions.

It tells the true gamers who the casuals are so we don't accidently get mixed up with them :).

There is no "true gamers" and that range of casuals are on a spectrum. Some casuals have very little time to play, other casuals have enough time to do all both raids and normal and hard mode

A lot of the grimoire is based on luck. If you don't get a lot of exotics your grimoire will stay low. The same with PVP. If you don't do it or that's all you do, your grimoire stays low.

That's why they got those unlock codes for the exotic weapon cards.

Got them. done that. if you look at my grimoire i have most of the cards. i just havent grinded out 20000000000000 kills with each gun type

That's where playtime and experience come in. Only cards that you have to actually grind is Pulses and shotguns.

I should probably go ghost hunting. Either way, I'm hardly inexperienced. I know what I'm doing and can hold my own in the raid. I just need a bit of practice.

Your basically judging it on how long people play every day, no how long they've had it.

Higher grimoire = probable higher chance of having more knowledge and or experience in the game.

I know a fair bit about the game. My grimoire is low. Test me if you don't believe me.

It can do, but a guy who has been a member of bungie for almost 2 years and pre-ordered the game kinda proves it too...

I pre-ordered games and made and account with countless forums, doesn't mean I still play or really ever put any more then a couple hours into them.

The problem is that exactly. I have too much to do, so I can only put in an hour a day playing.
