I only see people hate on hunters because of bladedance.

This. I love the defender class. But it's just getting killed by shoulder charge and fist of panic in PvP that drives me crazy. Striker is good for the first part of crota tho...

I use Defender for PvE most of the time. Weapons of Light is my go-to super upgrade. I feel Defender is more suited for PvE, while Striker is more of a PvP class. But I use Striker for both anyway. I love both subclasses.
