Ddos doesn't make it vulnerable.

Slows a system down so you can exploit its weaknesses. Pretty basic, but whatever everyone does it differently.

No, it floods the system with requests causing it no longer provide service, no one can connect. Therefore you aren't getting in. And even if you could manage a way to get in, they now know people are attacking the system. So they flip the switch. if nothing is connected, no one can get in. A hackers best defense is remaining undetected. A DDOS is basically saying "Hey I'm right here" not only that, but there is absolutely zero intrusion at all with a ddos, it's why no information was compromised with all the lizard squad ddos BS. If your method of a hack was to start with a ddos, you would never get anywhere.
