Did you know about this Ogre method? Crota's End Hard Mode
So some may or may not have seen this method. I for one, wasn't shown this until yesterday and was EXTREMELY impressed!

2 RepliesAside from less fire power, is there any reason you can't send 3 to each ogre door? Did this technique last night and it works great but the 2nd ogre like many enemies seem to find that spot that give them nearly perfect cover.

They will patch this as its too much fun even though its not a glitch. Make it so the ogres will not spawn till you are all at the starting crystal

Hard mode only, normal is easy and it's not needed.

Yup this is what my group does takes away from worrying about the boomers, thralls and Crota

1 ReplyThis is the strategy that pretty much every group I ran with uses to beat ogres then Crota. Now they are using wall shooting to aggro the boomers to reduce wipe chance for sword bearer. Basically jump to the right tower. Walk along the ledge that boomers fire from while moving toward the back of the map. Hop over the rock wall and you will be in a nook with the rock and Crota to your back while facing and shooting the wall between you and boomers. It's not fool proof but it helps. Also works for any 31 running it.
