Stupid. Lame. So I cannot move on and will get stuck in a strike unless I leave if someone goes afk? That is the single worst idea I have heard of. It's so much easier to drop the timeout to like 3 or 4 minutes on strikes. Then if you stand around too long you get booted. Don't punish others because one member goes afk, just kick them.

If the strike has just started and you can't proceed to the first area then not much harm has been done. Being that you haven't accomplished anything yet in the first place.

Ok, so then what happen when you get to the devil walker on earth and dude goes afk back in the refinery? Same thing? You going to make me leave my game because he is afk? No, stupid. Let the others go normally and disconnect anyone with no controller input for 3 minutes. Done. Next thread.

Like I said, my solution has flaws in its design. What you've suggested could be implemented as well.

Well to be perfectly honest, it's not flawed. Flawed is a working strategy or system that has an issue. Yours is broken, as in does not work at all. I just don't see a reason to do anything to the people that are playing normally. Don't punish them or make them wait because of someone else, just punish the afk player with a boot. It's just logical. Not sure why you wanted to punish the people actually playing the game with this idea.
