I mainly run TLW. Predominantly only run Hand Cannons and i main a Gunslinger Hunter. I only use my super offensively to cap a flag and clear it out or defensively to stop the enemy team from capping or stop another guardian mid super. Headshots are everything in this game no matter what weapon your using.
What setups are you guys using and whats your play style?

Wait. A 1.55 K/D is in the top 11% of the world?
-
The K/D is between all game modes and characters i believe and i am not exactly sure if thats in the world. But keep in mind most randoms barely hold a 1.0 and a lot of them a less. An average K/D is probably a 0.9-1.1 so 1.5 is still pretty good but yeah idk if its for the world.

That's rough. I feel like 1.5 is average. It sure is for me though. I have incredible games and then real downers and then my average games that just keep me at 1.5 Lol I must look like a pro with a 2.0 in Skirmish.
-
I know that you know how to calculate an average ... so please think about 1.5 being average.
-
I know how it makes sense, but to me it doesn't feel like that's what happens. I don't know how to explain it. I was aware of it while writing but...

well to be fair, it's not as cut-and-dry as I made it sound. let's pretend we have 3 people in one rumble match. one person gets a k/d of 0.25 (2 kills and 8 deaths) while the other two both get a k/d of 4.0 (4 kills and 1 death). the average k/d ratio in this game specific would be 2.75 but for the most part, this doesn't happen. Demonwarfare pointed out that the actual average k/d is 1.07 that really just means there are more terrible players than great players in PvP
-
Your right that specific game would have a K/D of 2.75 but the average of all games and people is much lower
-
Makes sense

Hard to think of 1.5 being an average K/D when most people barley scratch a 1.0 in the games I'm in. Occasionally there will be people up there but thats not average. And if 1.5 was average DestinyTracker should have a 1.5 K/D amongst the too 50% not 11%
-
also hard to think of 1.5 being average when someone else has to go 0.5 for you to go 1.5. a k/d ratio of 1.0 is the mathematical definition of average
-
Not sure what your talking about but my estimate of the average K/D being between 0.9 - 1.1 is correct according to DestinyTracker. To be amongst the top 50% you need a 1.07 K/D
