Clan Tournaments, and Private Matches
How sick would it be for clans to be able to set up in a tournament bracket style through this sight or MLG and have tournaments where they could get exclusive shaders, gun colors, class items, ships, or sparrows!

1 ReplyI've been thinking about making a similar post since the game came out. The only thing this game lacks is a Private match feature. Bungie doesn't even have to do any of the work once they provide the feature. The community will take over and organize everything. Give us enough customization features to set the rules and just have Private matches give no exp, or credit for bounties and it wont be game breaking. Competitive communities make a game last way past its expected life cycle. Bungie should know how important giving teams the ability to compete against each other is. They made freaking Halo. I will tell you right now, once Crota fatigue set in I would have never stopped playing this game if I could run clan matches.

I would LOVE to have a feature like this that would allow you to have tournaments with your clan. I think this could be doable from a development perspective. Just create a special non-matchmaking PVP event. The fireteam could have anywhere from 2 to 12 players (or it could be up to 6, 8, or 10 total depending on the type of event. When launched, the system would randomly split the fireteam into 2 teams for the match. This would not only allow clan members to play against each other, but also friends. Not sure about the exclusive shaders and stuff. I don't think that's necessary. Just set it so that only the winning team receives the regular reward drops.

Tune into some populars streams if you want to see stuff like that. Some people do clanwars but thats a joke tbh lol. We had a tournament not so long ago. So much hype and intensity. My team got 3rd, iAM got secpnd, and invigorate got 1st. ( hope you know those teams atleast)

I like this idea, a lot, except for the fact I don't have anyone to play with. I'm not great but I hold my own with the occasional really good game.

this game deserves customs and for all competitive players putting in hours playing other teams by meeting up online and searching at the same time.

Doing something like this would only increase this games fan base. I'm dying to get into some form of competitive FPS again and I believe this game would have the mechanics to be one of the best options. I just don't know how it would work, but for starters I think adding a custom game lobby would help. Then you could at least make this game compatible with something like gamebattles.com for clans.

Definitely would be a nice change of pace. Trials of Osiris is going to be the closest thing we get to a tiered reward system in Crucible at least for a while. This is a pretty simple addition that would make PvP far more worthwhile. P.S. [spoiler]You would get WREKT kid![/spoiler]
