Die in Hardmode, go to Orbit
Just as the title says. Hardmode is suppose to be the Nightfall of raids, so let's make it a true Nightfall.
If you wipe, you get sent back to orbit and lose your checkpoint. Do what you will with the Burn.

2 RepliesBungie I like the raid the way it is. Most of the Destiny ppl are just trollers. My friends and I spent 4 hours at reset and 3 and half hours when we got back on beating Crota before any YouTube video or stream was uploaded. It about you and your friends finding a way with the gear and weapon ya'll have to finish the raid together. Making a raid unbelievably hard along with the rng loot you get would be crazy and not enjoyable. Remember a lot of ppl just get shards lol. Sometimes making a game ultra hard takes a lot of fun from the game because it become a labor or job that stress you out instead of just a game you get to kick some ass in. My point is we already get are ass handed to us on the job. So when I home playing a game I what to be the one kicking some ass not on a hard ass raid getting f$&!ed up. Believe me it's just ain't fun. A raid that will send you and your group back to orbit if your friend controller goes dead or he or she f$&? up that would be a nightmare.

To be honest this isn't that bad of an idea. It would be hard as shit though but possible.

Hardmode is different then nightfall what you want is Nightfall raids witch would be -blam!-ing crazy awesome

This would be fine, if Bungie could put some effort into making a hard mode that isn't just: add more enemies, make them bullet sponges, and increase their level. Examples of good changes in the hard mode, is the addition of the detained bubbles during the Atheon fight, and the chalice being taken away during the Crota fight. Those things are properly irritating, but you can plan for it. You can plan for bullet sponge enemies, but it just seems like a cop out thing to do. I don't know, is it just me that thinks it's lazy on Bungie's part to make a boss that [i]requires[/i] rockets? If it is, I'll shut up.

Yeah that kind of change will see me aay farewell to destiny. 90% of wipes on crota and atheon are due to bugs in the fight..and you want to boot us all back to start if the game bugs out? Or do you just want to make us reload the checkpoint again? Thats just wasting everyones time, the game has enough load screen.

You know that something like that is probably planed to be put in place. Look at the format of the game it is a set of increasingly more difficult task. For mission it is base mission the hero difficulty the daily heroic for strikes it is normal then weekly then night fall so would it be surprising if they made something like this.

First they need to take away glitches and then allow us to revive teammates. Because in a nightfall. You do that.

2 Repliesthey should just make a nightfall version of the raid. Not change hard mode to nightfall, that way we can get 3 sets of rewards for raids a week.
