Nobody forces you. It's a pledge taken out of love for the country. If you follow everybody like a fish in a school, and do it because everyone around you does it, that's on you.

But if you truly love America, why not express the right that so many died for? It's more respectful IMO than saying the pledge when you're told.

Again, nobody can force you. I've never felt forced, because I love this country, and will pledge until I die, so I guess I can't relate to you.

In high school they do i fact make us. One kid refused to do it and he got iss.

Then take it up legally. You have a case.
