What are you going on about?
-
Your rights were given to you by a country. And America wasn't founded so one person wouldn't be loyal to a flag.
-
Where do you see the word god in the OP
-
But, just explain Why not saying the pledge of is more patriotic than saying it?
-
How does that relate to god? It isn't a religious statement
-
Explain to me how not saying a symbolic pledge makes you more patriotic.
-
It's because you're proving that you don't have to. It's basically respecting all those who died so that not saying the pledge was an option. And respecting the dead is patriotic in america
-
Nobody was ever forced to say it though. That's the thing. Your point would be valid if People were forced to say it. The pledge isn't a literal pledge. It is purely symbolic.
-
Most people (at least that I know) make it out to be mandatory, it's good to take them down a level or five.
-
I've never been forced to.
-
Good for you
-
It's was in one of your replies. "I'm just exercising my God given right"
-
Figure of speech
