There aren't enough hours in the day for anyone to respond to every thread that is addressed to DeeJ. And if he's wasting his time here on The forum, where it's impossible to address every post, he wouldn't be doing the rest of his job.

That's pretty much his job as community manager though. He relays info back and forth between players and devs. He's not a development manager, so him being on the forums wouldn't be slowing the creative process
the rest of his job.
Which is? Seriously, I want to know what he's so busy doing that replying to the community would keep him from.

Monitoring so many places where the Destiny community is active, interacting with the developers, and then trying to act as the go-between seems like a busy day.

Have you seen all of the threads on this forum. Its impossible for him to answer even 25% of them

Edited by luckyguess: 1/27/2015 1:28:19 PMYou don't go from thread to thread and reply to every one. One only needs to look at the first couple pages of the trending category to know what the top questions and concerns of the day/week are. He should have a section in his weekly updates that addresses the top questions of the week instead of stupid Bungie employee game tournaments.

He communicated these issues to the developers, they figure out what the solution is, the solution is worked on, and when it's ready to launch DeeJ communicates it to us.

Agreed. IMHO there's not enough involvement from our "community manager"
