He's not the game developer. He's basically just the messenger. Why do you people not get this through your thick heads?
Asking him to respond to every question is pointless, he probably doesn't even know anymore than you do.
If you want answers, ask the developers directly.

That's not what he is saying. You are completely ignorant or lack reading comprehension. He is asking for some communication, not game changes or every little question. Just the ones that garner the most support or are frequently asked. Like: "I saw a lot of people asking for a survivor mode, I passed it along to the development team and haven't heard anything back yet." Or " I passed along the idea of a survivor mode, and I was told it's not possible at this time to introduce it into the programming. Maybe in the future." Or "We know the game has been out for six months, and we are finally able to fix the heavy ammo glitch." Something is better than nothing...
-
Agreed. Instead, when he's hit with critical questions that he either doesn't know the answer to or is not permitted to answer directly, he ducks into his little hidey-hole for the rest of the week and goes dark, looking like a coward.
-
If he doesn't know the answer or can't answer, all he has to say is something like; "Yes, I saw that post/idea trending and I passed it on. I haven't gotten a response, things are buys around here."
-
But that IS what he is saying.. Don't know what post you are reading...or maybe you're the one that can't read?
-
He's asking for communication from the person that's supposed to be communicating with us. He's not asking for definitive answers for changes we want, just an acknowledgment that; "yes, I saw that post/idea trending and I passed it on."
-
Deej has already said in the past he has passed on ideas/concerns etc to developers!
-
He hasn't done so recently or addressed the recent trends....so it appears he in not listening. I believe he is, he just needs to communicate that he is...
-
We can't ask the developers directly. What exactly do you think DeeJ's job is? We're supposed to direct our questions and concerns to him and if he doesn't know the answer, he's supposed to go and get the answers from someone who does. Seriously, what do you think his job is?
-
And what if nobody tells him? Or they did tell him but is under orders to not reveal anything until he gets the green light? I'm not defending him, sure he hasn't answered the important questions. Half answers aren't just going to satisfy the majority, but you need to look at this from another angle. What if he honestly doesn't know anything?
-
If he's not allowed to answer a certain question then at least tell us "sorry, that's above my pay grade". The problem is he intentionally gives the impression that he is our man inside Bungie HQ. So, if he gets all this flack for not being able to deliver answers, that's completely on him or at the very least, his bosses for throwing him under the bus and using him as a decoy to take the hit from the community. If they're not giving him answers but at the same time not allowing him to tell the community that he can't get the answers, that's pretty -blam!-ed up because it makes him look like he's terrible at his job.

This^^^ The Devs are throwing Deej under the bus. However, I would like to know what Deej actually does 40hrs a week.

And what if that is in the contract he signed? A kind of non disclosure agreement? The thing is, it is messed up, it is stupid the game is in this situation. But what you have to remember is, this is a relatively new game. A few months isn't long enough to iron everything out. WoW had tons of problems when it first started, classes, skills, all unbalanced and broken. It took them years to address them properly. I'm going to give Destiny at least a year to find it's feet, to sort it's problems out and find it's direction.
