last night I was running strikes with the same guy for about an hour. I was leveling my Thorn so I killed everything I can in contact with. he was using the Thorn as well, but I'm not sure his intent. it was pretty nice just strolling through, smashing on all the baddies.
once in a while we'd get a speeder, but they never pulled weak moves like dying to get us to spawn with them.
I don't mind running through strikes, but I let the others in the strike decide.
if the other 2 players are running, then I'll run with them. if 1 wants to hang back, then I'll stay back and cover him.

Leveling a thorn with adds during a strike? Prayers go to you Sir. This is the epitome of a waste of time.

video games are a waste of time. I'm in no rush to get to the 2 blue engrams at the end of the strike.

Me too. I'm good either way. Have found lots of great friends this way. Communicate and "plays well with others" is so important in this game to have fun. It's not just the code but who you play with too
