Overtraining noob. Enjoy all your future injuries bruh.
However... In my prime...
6'1 178lb
Bench 185x3
Dead 275x3
Squat 225x3
Running at 15% BF right now
I have 40.8 pounds of lean muscle on me* 86 pounds of skeletal muscle mass.
I try to stay athletic. Numbers on my lifts don't matter to me.
For those who are newer, just lift smart. I'm dealing with a terrible rotary cuff injury right now.

No such thing as overtraining if you're safe about it
-
o·ver·train/ˌōvərˈtrān/ verb (with reference to an athlete) train or cause to train too hard or for too long. Most people train harder than they need to, to get results. It's all about training smart and efficiently. True gains come from eating and genetics.
-
That's quite a generalization, lol. Gains come from a good workout regiment, nutrition, sleep, genetics, and mental focus. As long as you allow whatever muscles you exerted to rest properly, you can still workout other parts of your body. How fast they rest depends on all of the things above though.

Well said :)

And training 5-6 days a week isn't overtraining. There is this weird concept of training different muscle groups on different days, crazy right?
And training 5-6 days a week isn't overtraining. There is this weird concept of training different muscle groups on different days, crazy right?
Depends on a lot of factors. If you train to failure and as hard as you can 5-6 days a week, unless you're roiding, it's over training for most ppl. I can already tell you're one of those single minded meat heads who go on bodybuilding.com and tells everyone they're wrong. So do what works for you and carry on.
-
Lol nope, but good guess. I come here when I'm bored and I found a random Google certified personal trainer apparently.
-
Hahaha! I meet one of those a day, I swear. I'm actually taking a biology human nutrition and human genetics class. It's really cool so far. I'll upload a pic of my body composition when I get back to the office.
-
Quick planet fitness needs you.
-
Not that you give a shit, but here's my body composition. Take one at your local gym and post it. Prove that you're not an internet tough guy.
-
Was this done in a bod pod? Because we have one here on my base that I used probably a month and a half back and it only put out weight, and body fat.
-
It's an InBody 230 machine. Google that shit, bruh
-
I hear the pay is good
-
Lol in your prime your numbers are garbage.
-
-
I alternate between workouts, I don't focus on only one muscle group in order to stay balanced and allow other muscles resting time.

I'm assuming you're young. Whatever you're doing is working for you. Just always be open to advice from more experienced lifters. Don't always judge them off their size. Not all knowledgable trainers are big. Food is always priority 1. Eat big, eat right. Learn your body and force change.
