The way I look at it is that I use my warlock the most and I would never use a hunter so why not have 2 warlocks so when the new raid come you have double the chance of getting maxed level week 1? Anyone else agree?

in a monotone game such as destiny, i appreciate any variety i can get
-
Trophies, Grimoire, and it's fun to try out each subclass.
-
i see the point but don't have the time to do everything for three seperate classes so instead i focus on my main and use a second titan for nightfall, weekly and raids and for quick levelling guns and armor, just so i can keep up with all my friends who have three characters
-
Doesnt matter at all. At 32 everyone looks exactly the same, with the same abilities and same weapons.
-
It's all preference. I do it because I want to get all of what destiny has to offer. :P I'm not looking much into being the "highest level guardian" but more of just doing what I want in the game
-
1 ReplyIt's preference. I was dead set against playing a hunter for the longest time, but decided to make one for the achievement, and grew to enjoy the variety, but I see nothing wrong with making another of the same class personally. It's your game, play it how you want and to hell with people on here who talk down to you for not playing the way they think you should play.
-
1 ReplyI had all three and didn't click with hunter so have her up for another warlock. Haters can hate but I enjoy playing more now. But kinda wish I could also have two defender Titans bc I like helping in raids

3 RepliesEdited by Stryker Shaka: 1/27/2015 10:26:28 AM32 Warlock Sunsinger 31 Warlock Voidwalker I try my hardest to leave them like this. I have to switch up my play style a lot and remember which perks to use when. So even though they're the same class, the different subclass keeps things fresh.
-
1 ReplyI don't see the point in this thread.
-
So basically, you can't play the game properly. You think that it would be smarter to cheese with two characters to get more loot. Well played -blam!-, well played.

5 RepliesEdited by thefourfoldroot: 1/27/2015 10:16:32 AMSo you're saying if you don't like or can't use another class make multiple of the one you can use?...well yes, or just get good at the other classes. They all have their strategic uses. And ultimately why the rush to hit top level, it only effects a very small part of the game.
-
4 RepliesI prefer one but I just started a 2nd character just for vault space
-
Achievements master at least one subclass for every character

Edited by Iron Lord Ninja: 1/27/2015 9:58:07 AMHow do you know you don't like using hunter?
-
Well for example with a hunter you can solo the first part of CE (Hard too) too help your fireteam easy. Or a hunter is good to easily revive teammates where possible. Warlock helps with everything else pretty much. Aside from that it's just fun to have different characters for different playstiles
-
Yeah had 3 warlocks at the beginning of this was 32 by like week 2 and got all the gear week 1. But I made one of every character and honestly it's more fun
-
One of each me, increased armour drops mine I had all armour after 2 weeks anyway
-
Variety. They are all fun to use and after a while using the same class gets boring. Very boring. As if the game isn't boring enough.
-
1 ReplyYes. I played a titan, it wasn't for me. I deleted it and made another lock.
-
I love having a choice in my play style. My titan is still my favorite! But my warlock with obsidian mind is freaking awesome I can just run around blowing everything up with nova bomb! The hunter is a blast! See a group of enemies or in crucible other guardians just go blade dancer all over everyone! It's a ton of fun to have all three! I've been here sense day one and I had three titans. Trust me when I say the same character can get old.
-
I have a love hate relationship with my hunter. On one hand, some of the perks are cool. On the other, he's a pussy bitch who gets destroyed easily. I'm thinking about deleting him and making a titan
-
playing all three types and races. It brings more out of the game. I am warlock first but the throwing knife is really fun with headshots and the titan bubble makes you feel like a boss.
-
Have one of each character. I have my favourite and the one I don't really like but I'll keep all 3 because they all have there strengths and it makes each nightfall, raid, pvp experience different and keeps the game fresher. Plus... Having 2 of the characters and then opening an exotic engram for the one you don't have? -blam!- that!

32 hunter 32 titan Soon to be 32 warlock ( glimmer and warlock materials) Like all 3 due to their different play styles... Definitely like my hunter the most and consider him to be my main character, but I find having all 3 classes comes in handy depending on what my teAm is running with and needs character wise.

I think everybody should do what fits them. I personally don't care much about practicality, and would rather enjoy the gameplay. Having 3 classes allows me to do that as entirely as possible. But some people don't enjoy playing a certain class, or would rather have a single strong class, so it's fine by me when someone has doubles or triple of a character.
