I know but when they were in the future how did they get planet to planet they have no form of transportation

Time is not a straight line of progression. If you watch Doctor Who, you'd know its more of a ball. Time and Space as Vex travel is a forum of matter. They manipulate it and it becomes part of them (VoG) so they travel with time planet to planet.
