For abyss in CE I can not stress enough to stick together. It can work if the team gets split I know but for inexperienced players it's a killer. I'm looking at you blade dancers. Most of what you say can apply to CE as well. Never die, know your class, don't get to cocky, and timing is key.

I've never managed to finish the Abyss myself because the peopel I'm with always run on ahead (goddamn Hunters with their Dont Touch Me gauntlets)

Bladedancers can easily solo the abyss.

Fair enough. From my experience it's caused more problems then solved them. To each there own I suppose.
