Well, I do pc gaming on my channel so Fraps is my go to. For editing, you'll need something good, i use powerdirector 11.1, don't use easy mode though if you do it. And remeber to trim for youtube, don't upload hour long videos, edit it to keep in only the funny parts, unless there's a reason they need to see the uneditied footage, in which case just adjust the audio and such, it ain't easy, lemmetellya, is hard as balls getting all the software you have to work together. Twitch is hard to get working too on pc, it's a pain.

And at first you won't have a lot of views. Just warning ya for this, it'll be a good year before you can get to 1,000, if that. After that though, your views and subscriber count will go up faster, but not by much, it takes a while, and usually some help from other youtubers, before you get really popular.

Yeah thanks for that I think I want to do it as more of a hobby and if I get any followers after that happy days finding it really hard to find good topics via google about exactly what hardware and software I need for capturing and editing ps4 footage on a PC... Will look into that software you highlighted
