Nightfall is solo-able, of course so as the weekly. I did it, many time. Corta's end is solo able, seen people do it on video, I make a few attempt, not too bad, but still working on it. And if you get corta drop, you dont really need VOG.

I know this is a bit off topic, but I think not needing VoG is one of the issues with destiny. Crota's end pretty much made it pointless.
