Honestly I'd pay 100$ for a game to know I could pick it up and drop it without feeling like I'm wasting money, monthluly subscriptions would make me feel like I need to play

Destiny did the same thing. Once you overcome the "need to play" then you can really enjoy ff14

What I'm saying is that I've payed 100$ for destiny, but 7 montha from now, if I still want to play I can, even kf I take 3 months off, that wouldnt be the same at 15$ a month

Stop paying for those 3 months? As someone who played WoW I took breaks all the time. I only paid by the month with the monthly cards you could buy so if I wanted to take a break I just wouldn't renew for the next month and go play something else.
