Everyone is free to their own opinion and in my opinion, black hammer is just fine as is. The black hammer is best at taking down bosses with big easy crit spots. For example: The two bosses on Devils lair, the tank on the Mars strike, Nexus, Phogoth, etc With a steady hand you will basically have infinite ammo on these bosses. If you miss, then you need to practice more with the sniper rifle. Bottom line: The Black hammer is not for infantry, its for bosses.
