Officially pissed the -blam!- off at Destiny.
Before people think this is another thread about hunters being OP, it is not. Soooo I am rank five Iron banner today and I got the sniper but there is one problem. I had 166 motes of light this morning. I now have a grand total of one because I never got the benefits I wanted on my sniper. I kept re rolling like an arrogant fool. I do not have the spirit to play more than one character. I said to myself, xur would not sell the chest engram this week, let me waste a few motes in hopes of getting what I want. NOPE, DOWN TO one MOTE. I REPEAT, one. I really do not think I will be getting to 166 motes in a long time. So Bungie, As much as I love your game, the re rolling system is ASS. You should make us be able to put the benefits we want for 40 motes or something instead of gambling two every time. I got rank four eris today without glitching and I have a grand total of NOTHING left to do in this game until hard raid drops. By then, Iron banner will be finished and I will not be able to re roll my sniper. I am SUPER MAD, BRO.
Praxic fire will never show itself, and that is the only thing that will make me better. ONLY THING.
PS: Anyone have the best way to get my motes back?

If so and you are only left with one, then you tried to reroll that 82 times? Are you serious? That is insane. I don't know if I could blame Destiny or RNG for that bro. You're the one that tried your luck that many times. I don't know anything about this sniper rifle but, I highly doubt it is better than any of the exotics or black hammer. I think I would've stuck to those. Hell even the vanguard one is serviceable. When it comes to RNG, I never go all in, I cash out after a few losses and save my currency for another day.

Ive spend 90 motes, 16 motes on my sniper, the rest on rocket launcher. The sniper is how i like it, the rocket launcher isnt. It sucks, sure, but the system would be broken if there were some guarantee in what you could get without changing the whole rng system. Its a slot machine, yoi just dumped 200 dollar into it, and it gave nothing in return, the guy next to you however, throws in a single dollar and gets the jackpot. Thats how random works, just like life, it aint fair.

2 RepliesI hardly play pvp but wouldnt it make more sense to actually have a roll table that you can choose from? for example an average skill tree costs 20 motes & the best skill tree at a cost of 100 motes, or you get to simply select each perk yourself with each perk at a preset cost? ppl would be able to get the gun they want with the perks they want as long as they have the motes. just an idea.

I got clown cartridge, whatever one makes the clip reload faster when it's empty and field scout. Pretty happy with that

1 ReplyRule number 1 of rerolling weapons: Buy 2 of the same weapon. Roll one until you get perks you like. Doesn't have to be a perfect roll, just good. Then start rolling the other looking for your perfect roll. This way you are guaranteed at least a good weapon.
