The exotics are not affected by shaders.
That's why my 26 defender Titan is completely purple (he has no back up plans).

Use No Backup Plans with Chatterwhite and the VOG Titan mark, the hologram pieces look awesome together.

Some exotics are. Don't assume stuff.

Well, almost all the exotic armor pieces are not affected by armor shaders. I just remembered when I had the void dang vestments are mostly affected by armor shaders.
