The Last Word...
The Last Word is ridiculous for PvP. The sheer power, rate of fire, range, and almost every other aspect of this weapon is beyond comprehension. The Last Word can beat basically every weapon category, at any range. The magazine would allow you to take out 3 people without reloading (if you're a decent/good player) when basically no other weapon can do that, short of a heavy machine gun.
This gun MUST have the nerfbat taken to it. I'm extremely tired of using something like Light of the Abyss, Found Verdict, or any other close range weapon, and getting beaten by The Last Word. The same goes for any weapon at range. Bad Juju, Atheon's Epilouge, and MANY other decent or good weapons will lose virtually every gun fight to The Last Word. I've even shot a rocket at long range and been sniped by The Last Word before the rocket killed them.

Maybe it is good because its hard to get and it is exotic?

Sometimes I hit 96 with headshots instead of the normal 77, and the range is much, much higher than what's shown on the stats. I've long-ranged people and have been long-ranged with it numerous times in PVP, and the sheer amount of this exotic I've been seeing on PVP as of recent is ridiculous. Seriously, every match of Rumble or Skirmish I've played, there's always some person with The Last Word and Felwinter's lie. What they need to fix is the bugged range and the random 96s, then it would be tolerable, but in its current state, The last word is super overpowered.

Sounds like someone is butthurt they don't have the last word. There isn't any gun that can't beat another if properly used. Everyone bitches about the Vex and the Thorn and the Last word. How about you just bitch until we all just go bare knuckles and knives?

You said "at range" and that my friend is what is getting nerfed on all hand cannons today THANK YOU BUNGIE. Yesterday I was 3 shotted by Thorn at long range even when I landed the first shot with a scout rifle. I cant wait to hear all the hand cannon scrubs complain on the forum that hand cannons need a buff now.

No, just no... I'm a CHRISTMAS NEWB!!! I don't even complain about getting but--blam!- by "OP" guns. Listen, I came into Destiny a few days after Christmas and SLAUGHTERED in the Crucible. It's not the gun that makes the difference, (albeit, unless you're gun is literal shite,) it's about finding your own unique play style and a gun that matches that play style. I HAVE TLW now, and I still get -blam!- by the Vex, Ghorn, Truth, MIDA, Invective, etc. Hell! Just yesterday 2 FRESH NEWBS at lvl 7 -blam!- me with pulse rifles 6 times in a row! If you can't hold your own in the Crucible, then stop crying and go do the friggin vanguard strikes!

The range is not beyond comprehension, its pretty subpar actually. I got it and slapped it on my lower level warlock cause i like the thorn better. Still ungodly with how fast it can spit bullets if the weird hand fanning animation and recoil don't throw you off too bad though.
