Does sprint annoy anyone else?
I don't know why but when I'm sprinting and reload or slide it seems to take a second or two before I can sprint again. I have to stop and then click the sprint again for it to work. Does this happen to anyone else?

Only game that the button functions feel sluggish and often unresponsive. He crucible seems to be the worst for it. Have to press the run button 6 or 7 times to run again, but other times works right away. No rhyme or reason it seems.

Yes!!! Throws me off. I try to jump and reload while I'm in the air to minimize the time I slow down for. Lol

6 RepliesAnd don't get me started on the whole bouncing off structures while jumping or gliding... Are we made of Jello or something? That's like one the most frustrating game mechanics I ever experienced. Is there a logical reason for this mechanic at all?

1 ReplyPretty sure it's an intentional agility mechanic. Not only do you have to wait a second or two before sprinting again, but double jumps aren't as effective for a couple of seconds either.

Games have their own variation of the sprint, just depends on what the Developer wants. Halo didn't have sprint most of the time. CoD has limited sprint with a perk to extend it. Destiny has infinite sprint with a delay. I think it's a good payoff. Same thing goes for jumping.

Happens to me everytime, pretty sure it's supposed to even though the sprint is unlimited while in use.

Try tapping the jump button and hit sprint while in air. You should hit the ground running again

1 ReplyHonestly sprint seems amazing for me now after i got a new controller. The analog stick wouldnt let me sprint half the time or would cut me out of sprint after .5 seconds. I got used to that and not being able to move at a normal speed when strafing to the right. I feel like i have insane mobility now lol.

It's laggy as all get out. Thought my controller was going bad so I bought another one. Still laggy as -blam!- to sprint.
