Does sprint annoy anyone else?
I don't know why but when I'm sprinting and reload or slide it seems to take a second or two before I can sprint again. I have to stop and then click the sprint again for it to work. Does this happen to anyone else?

To get around this quickly release the joystick and then proceed to sprint again.

That is based on your agility. The lower it is, the longer it will take to recover and vice versa

Yea I originally thought it was a problem with my controller but its a prpblem with destiny. Im not positive but it may also happen if you are lagging. But there almost always seems to be a one second delay.

From what I understand there is actually a cool down for sprint similar to that of your sparrow.

Yes when I sprint in to draw out the wizards on deathsinger it will never seem to let me sprint back out.

I thought this was a thread from a halo purists who hates going faster than an old man jog in a game. But the. You made sense with something I've experienced as well and yeah, that it strange.

Yes heres my tip if you slide leave joystick and then quickly press it as sprinting it works well and for reloaf man...

I hate when it just periodically decides to go on cool down. I click the thumbstick in like 15 times in a row and finally it sprints again.

Yeah man. I noticed this a LOT lately don't know whether it was stealthily put in during a recent patch. Makes me paranoid my controller is knackered!

Happens to me, but I thought it was my controller since it's pretty old. It also happened to me in BO2 so I'm pretty sure it's my controller

So for some reason this thread is popular. This is really quite easy to get around: tap your left trigger ever so slightly and it resets the cool down on sprint. Striker titans will find this especially helpful for crucible.

I struggled with this when it was released but I've gotten good with the timing. If you time it perfect then you can reload and then sprint without a delay. Takes practice though

1 ReplyI've noticed this particularly on my Xbox 360 controller. Its given me hell when doing the jump maze on VoG and its just flat out annoying while just doing anything really. I know others that play on the 360 have the same issue. Dunno if its a game issue or just worn out controllers. Since I upgraded to the Xbone its been smooth with no issues so far, but I'm keeping an on my left joystick
