I love how you restated your meaning of your post like 3 times and people still don't understand what you're saying. I agree though. not every mission requires sniping.

Using a sniper is fine, but going a good half mile away just to snipe.. Pointless in all situations other than nightfalls.

Yes and using other close range guns while fighting side by side with teammates is usually faster.
