I work at a petstore and we carry lots. I don't have any myself but if I HAD to pick from the stock we have, I'd choose a Crested Gecko. They're soft and feel like marshmallows, also they're really clingy and have a prehencile tail that sort of -sticks- to you. They have been known to jump occasionally but are generally pretty polite and calm. I like them a lot : )

A pet store sounds like it would be a fun temp job, or full time thing if that's what you're into. My girlfriend wants to work at the pet store we got the snake from for part time work after she finishes high school and starts college. With how often we're there to buy mice to feed the snake, the whole staff kinda knows us, so she's sort of got a foot in the door. And i've seen those before, but never handled them. Never heard of an animal be described as feeling like marshmallows before. lol

Yeah its a nice place to work. The people at my location are REALLY friendly, but that was just luck. I do a little bit of everything there but I'm mostly used for stocking (dog food and litter are HEAVY!) I get to see all sorts of animals from dogs to monkeys and I get to pet some of them : ). And yeah just like marshmallows lol. Soft and just a little bit sticky (but not in a gross way)

You work at a pet store that actually handles monkeys? 0_o That's some exotic shit right there, don't know of a single pet store in my area that does that.

haha, no WE dont carry Monkeys, but weve had 1 or 2 people come in with them before : ) thats what i meant.

Yeah I kinda flipped out lol. I was like OMG KATIE ITS A MONKEY! (shouting to a co-worker at the back of the store) and the guy said: "shhh, you have to be careful not to make loud noises around him" and I was embarrassed >.<;;;
