Jk Rowling and Peter Jackson kind of did it already, and proved we'd pay for it...of course a game maker would try at some point.

Funny, the hobbit book was smaller than each volume of the Lord of the Rings which they managed to fit 1 movie per book with plenty of detail. The hobbit movies were a better example of a cash grab than Destiny any way you look at it.

Were they though, I couldn't tell you, it took me a month to watch the first one, gave up 45 mins into the second one. Loved the book, loved the graphic novel even more

I loved all the movies but I'm also a huge fan of Lotr. Read all the books too.

I'm just being nostalgic, but I'm sure you've also seen the animated lotr movie from 70's covering the first 2 books. Now I loved that version, but I was also only 12 when I watched it, then moved onto all the books.

Never saw the LotR, but I saw the animated hobbit when I was young and had a hobbit game on my pc that I could never beat lol
