Not really into poetry to be honest, I just wanted to rub it in everyone else's face that the most famous poet in history was Scottish.

You know that song that everyone sings on New Year's Day, auld lang syne? It was written by Robert Burns. I think it's safe to say that he (or at least his work) is extremely famous.
