Money

For the developers, obviously. I'm saying that nobody who bought it needed the remastered version.
that necro though
-
I never played it on PS3 and the graphic increase was tremendous.
-
Like I said, not having played it before is a legit reason to get remastered edition, but I don't think that a graphical increase was worth it.
-
When i looked at them both it was a better graphical increase then even elder scrolls 4 and 5.
-
Yea, so we could have the game on ps4.
-
Who cares? What's the point of playing it again?
-
Who cares? What's the point of playing it again?
People re watch tv shows/movies all the time. Re playing a game is no different
-
I know but you only pay for it once, rather than buying it again. I guess it's just up to what people want to spend their money on.
-
I know but you only pay for it once, rather than buying it again. I guess it's just up to what people want to spend their money on.
well as someone else here pointed out some people never played the game on ps3 or never owned a ps3
-
That's a legit reason then.
-
It is when you pay full price again
-
A lot of people bought ps4's, having not had a ps3, and there were others who decided simply not to buy the game and we're given the opportunity to play it again, with higher graphics.
-
It's different in that case. Still feels ridiculously early for a remaster
-
It proves what the new gen can do for some skeptics that don't want to buy the ps4 (I'm sure it can do much more)
-
Seems to me more like a quick cash grab. A fair few people will have ended up buying both
-
So? There were a lot of conversions from 360 to ps4 too, all of which never got a chance to play it. It simply gives ps4 owners another chance to play the game, and if someone likes it enough to buy it again, then that's their decision.
-
I just think remasters should be given some time. Had it been made a few years down the line the differences would have been far more significant
-
Well if they waited too long people would have complained or forgot about it and it would have been irrelevant. They did a fine job with it anyway.
-
Not if it's a classic, just look at Shadow of the Colossus or even Halo.
-
Well halo 4 had just come out recently so the halo series was still relevant. Sotc though was old. Just saying, I personally think it was a good time to release because one of the reasons I bought a ps4 in addition to my xbox one was for the last of us. I only had a 360 before that.
-
The anniversary version of Halo (CE) came out independently 10 years after it was released, jus sayin.
